Jayco Unveils New 2022 Range

Jayco is one of Australia's best-known manufacturers — so, what's in store for its new 2022 lineup?

Jayco’s latest range of RVs feature innovations in design, decor, and solar efficiency, with the Australian manufacturer aiming to offer adventurers greater offroad capabilities, increased amounts of storage space, and all the comforts of home.

Among the new features in the 2022 range is a new MPPT solar system, capable of improving power output efficiency by up to 20 per cent. The 2022 Jayco Silverline, All Terrain, and Journey Caravans will all include this new system (which is standard in Outback models) as well as an upgraded 200W solar panel.

Another new addition to the range across Outback models will be an Anderson plug, which enables an additional portable solar panel to be connected. This additional power source and improved solar technology will allow for greater offroad capabilities for those seeking to stay off-the-grid for longer periods.

“We know that more and more of our customers are opting for offroad travel, and we kept this in mind when designing our MY22 Outback, CrossTrak, and All-Terrain models. These improvements to solar power efficiency, with the addition of the Anderson plug, will give our customers the capabilities to go further for longer,” said Scott Jones, Jayco National Sales Manager.

Offering stylish and modern interior and exterior design, the MY22 range celebrates a new look with the addition of new interior furnishing options, a new bedspread, and new rim designs as well as sleek black doors and protective black window shades.

The Jayco Journey, Starcraft, and All Terrain models will feature new kitchen furnishings that will include interlocking cabinetry, adding greater strength and durability. Jayco has also redesigned the en suite for the Silverline and Journey models, which will include additional cabinetry for an improved amount of storage space. There will no longer be cabinetry around the washing machine, allowing for greater accessibility and ease of use.

In 2022, Jayco’s Starcraft 12.38-1 and 12.38-2 Pop Tops will join the Journey Pop Top range, and will now include all the features that come standard in the Journey models including an air conditioner, 100 Amp battery, and app functionality. All Jayco Starcraft Caravans will now also feature the company’s trademark fibreglass exterior, providing further durability and strength, as well as greater insulation for improved heating and cooling.

The All Terrain Pop Tops will now be available in a bunk/en suite model (the 17.58-3) with the goal of catering for families or small groups wanting to enjoy the great outdoors but not wanting to sacrifice too many creature comforts.

“We continue to see domestic travel skyrocket, and we’re seeing an increase in popularity of our adventure market — not just for couples, but for families too,” Scott Jones said. “The new addition of the 17.58-3 to the All-Terrain range will allow families to enjoy the most out of their offroad adventures and provide a safe and affordable way to travel further off the beaten track,” he added.
